Therefore, you must prove you have passed the fundamentals of medical interpreting taught in our standard course.

This is a condensed course (30 hours) that builds upon the foundation of medical interpreting- that is taught in our standard interpreting class- and has been specifically designed for the National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters exam.

 

 

• If you want a good paying job, you will need an official medical interpreter certification 💸

 

Yes, you read that correctly. High-paying medical interpreting jobs require a license, or will only hire on the contingency that you pass your state administered certification exam. Hospitals need to ensure accuracy with translation services, as miscommunication can literally mean the difference of life or death.
