Cape Verdean Creole and Portuguese Interpreter

Requirements:

One to two years of experience in a healthcare setting as a medical interpreter. Must pass the Signature Healthcare Interpreter Services department's interpreter testing process, both in its written and oral format. Satisfactory fluency in English and Cape Verdean/Creole/Portuguese at a level that ensures accurate and understandable interpretation.
Medical interpreting training required.

Job Description: Qualifications: Formal medical interpreting training required, either as a 40 hours minimum medical interpreting course, or associate's degree in translation and/or interpretation. Strong translation skills and understanding of translation process.
