  • Certificates that map to real careers — hospitals, courts, schools, government agencies, and language service companies hire from our programs.
  • Flexible, 100% online delivery — evening and weekend classes designed for working adults.
  • No prior interpreting experience required for most programs — just bilingual fluency and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Who Should Take an Interpreter Training Course?

Our programs are built for:

  • Bilingual adults who want to launch a new, flexible career
  • Heritage speakers who've informally interpreted for family and community but want a professional certificate
  • Case managers, paralegals, front-office staff, and social workers who are bilingual and want to formalize their skills
  • Working interpreters who want to add a specialization (legal, immigration, medical, etc.)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between an interpreter training program and a translation program?

Interpreting is spoken/signed communication delivered in real time, while translation is written. Most of our certificate programs focus on interpreting (medical, legal, immigration, etc.), while our Translation Technology Training program is designed specifically for bilingual adults who want to become written translators.

Do I need experience to enroll in an interpreter training course?

No. Most programs require only that you're fluent in English and one other language, hold a High School diploma or equivalent, and pass a language assessment pre-test.

How long does it take to become an interpreter?

Most of our certificate programs run 5–7 weeks, with a few shorter specialized courses (like Video Remote Interpreting) completing in as little as 3 weeks.

Are the classes online?

Yes. All programs are delivered through live, instructor-led online classes and webinars, so you can train from anywhere.

Which interpreter training program should I choose?

It depends on where you want to work. Choose Medical Interpreter Training for healthcare, Legal & Court Interpreter Training for courtrooms, Immigration Interpreter Training for immigration services, or Business Interpreter Training for corporate settings. Request info if you're not sure which fits your goals.
